Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,719.23 with a loss of -0.78% percent or -217.34 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,780.96 with a loss of  -0.18% percent or  -4.91  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,892.07 up with +0.66% percent or +247.17 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,642.20 with a loss of -0.0033% percent or -0.25 point. In economic data, the NFIB’s small business optimism index is due out at 6 a.m. ET, followed by import and export price index data at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Home Depot shares rose more than 1 percent after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings and revenue. The company’s results were boosted by stronger-than-forecast same-store sales, a key metric for retailers.
