Nasdaq Futures Opening Update as on 05 March 2019

U.S. stock futures higher  in pre-market trading for , March 05.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,158.75 up with +0.18% percent or +13.00 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,859.50 up with +0.18% percent or +45.50 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,796.38 up with +0.17% percent or +4.88 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,726.28   with a loss of -0.44% percent or -95.76 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,973.99  up with +0.050% percent or +14.40 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,053.28  up with +0.85% percent or +25.71 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,159.29 up with +0.26% percent or +95.48 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,157.33  up with +0.32% percent or +22.94 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,585.53   with  a loss of -0.062% percent or  -7.13 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,285.28 with a loss of -0.024% percent or -1.29 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 375.01  with a loss of -0.02% percent or -0.02% point.

Tuesday’s Factors and Events

More broadly, market players are focused on U.S.-China trade developments with mixed messages on the progress of talks between Washington and Beijing over the last days. Sources told CNBC Monday that U.S.-China trade negotiations are in the “final stages” and that a summit in Mar-a-Lago later this month could close the deal.

On the economic front, there will be services PMIs at 9.45 a.m. ET; new home sales at 10 a.m. ET and federal budget figures released at 2p.m. ET.
