Nasdaq Futures Opening Update as on 10 April 2019

U.S. stock futures higher  in pre-market trading for , April 10.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,607.00 up with +0.18%  percent or +14.00 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 26,201.00 up with +0.16% percent or +43.00 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,888.38  up with +0.20% percent or +5.88 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world,  Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,687.57  with a loss of -0.53% percent or -115.02 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 30,111.64  with a loss of -0.15% percent or -45.85   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,241.93  up with +0.070% percent or +2.27 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,732.22  with a loss of  -0.53% percent or -207.00 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,429.07  up with  +0.047% percent or +3.50 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,901.74 up with +0.43% percent or  +51.17 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,458.04 up with +0.40% percent or +21.63 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 386.73  up with +0.27% percent or +1.12 point.

Wednesday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures were slightly higher Wednesday morning, as market participants await inflation data and minutes from the Federal Reserve’s latest meeting.

The Federal Reserve will release the minutes of its March monetary policy meeting later in the session. Last month, the U.S. central bank decided to maintain interest rates and hold off an any further increases this year.

Meanwhile, global economic growth was a sore point for risk asset markets. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut its forecast for world economic growth this year, saying a slowdown could force world leaders to coordinate stimulus measures.

Tuesday’s Activity

For the day The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,909.28   with a loss of -0.56% percent or -44.61 point.the Dow is trading at 26,150.58  with a loss of -0.72% percent or -190.44 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,878.20 with a loss of -0.61% percent or -17.57 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,559.68 with a loss of -1.22% percent or -19.32 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 952.93 with a loss of -1.24% percent or -11.92 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,927.04 with a loss of -1.14% percent or -22.32 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,270.67  with a loss of -0.54% percent or -6.90 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,696.15   with a loss of -0.67% percent or -11.51 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,594.42   with a loss of -0.63% or -10.14 point.
