Nasdaq Futures Opening Update as on 26 April 2019

U.S. stock futures lower  in pre-market trading for , April 26.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,812.62 up with +0.18% percent or +14.12  point.The Dow Futures is trading at 26,426.00  with a loss of -0.05% percent or -14.00 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,926.12  with a loss of -0.00% percent or -0.13 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,258.73  with a loss of -0.22% percent or -48.85 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,550.32  up with +0.0018% percent or +0.52   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,086.40  with a loss of -1.20% percent or -37.43 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,854.35  up with +0.32% percent or +123.49 point at 12:15 PM..The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,417.42  with  a loss of -0.22% percent or -16.71 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 12,298.14  up with +0.13% percent or  +15.54 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,566.94 up with +0.17% percent or +9.28 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 390.50    up with +0.09% percent or +0.35 point.

Friday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures were slightly lower Friday morning, as market participants prepared for another deluge of corporate earnings and awaited key economic data.

Market focus is largely attuned to economic developments, amid speculation that figures later in the session could show the U.S. economy outperforming the rest of the developed world.

A string of robust numbers for the world’s largest economy has prompted analysts to revise up their forecasts for expansion and the latest Reuters poll is for annualized growth of 2%.

For the day The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,118.68 up  with +0.21% percent or +16.67 point.the Dow is trading at 26,462.08   with a loss of -0.51% percent or -134.97 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,926.17 with a loss of -0.037% percent or -1.08 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,575.61  with a loss of -0.79% percent or -12.52 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 964.06 with a loss of -1.01% percent or -9.79 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,955.14 with a loss of -1.14% percent or -22.53 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,298.54  up with +0.12% percent or +1.52 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,723.17  with a loss of -0.14% percent or -2.35 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,620.50  with a loss of -0.087% or -1.41 point.
