Nasdaq Futures Opening Update as on 17 July 2019

U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for , July 17 The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,952.25 up with +0.11% percent or +8.63 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 27,333.50 up with +0.02% percent or +5.50 point.  The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 3,008.12  up  with +0.02% percent or +0.62 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,469.18  with a loss of -0.31% percent or -66.07 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,581.27 with a loss of -0.13% percent or -38.35 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,931.69  with a loss of -0.20% percent or -5.92 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,236.71  up with +0.27% percent or +104.0 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,561.55  with  a loss of -0.21% percent or -15.73 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 12,422.39   with  a loss of -0.069% percent or -8.58 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,612.75  with a loss of -0.029% percent or -1.63 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 389.19   up with +0.02% percent or +0.09 point.

Wednesday’s Factors and Events

“We are carefully monitoring these developments and assessing their implications for the U.S economic outlook and inflation, and will act as appropriate to sustain the expansion, with a strong labor market and inflation near its symmetric 2% objective,” Powell said in Paris.

Investors are likely to monitor the latest Housing starts and building permits due at 8:30 a.m. ET. In terms of Fed speeches, Kansas City Fed President Esther George will speak at 02:30 p.m. ET.
