Nasdaq Futures Opening Update as on 26 July 2018

U.S. stock futures mixed in pre-market trading for Thursday, July 26.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,405.75  with a loss of -0.85% percent or -63.25 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,434.00 up with +0.12% percent or +31.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,835.75 with a loss of -0.19% percent or -5.50 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,586.87 with a loss of  -0.12% percent or -27.38 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,780.55  with a loss of -0.49% percent or -140.35 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,882.23 with  a loss of  -0.74% percent or -21.42  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,997.44 up with  +0.38% percent or +139.21  point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,660.00 up with +0.023% percent or +1.74 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 12,712.71  up with +1.06% percent or +133.38 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,441.66 UP  with +0.28% percent or +15.25 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 388.76 up with +0.42% percent or +1.63 point.

Thursday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures pointed in different directions ahead of Thursday’s open, as investors shifted their attention to the corporate space.

Furthermore, market sentiment was also impacted by earnings and corporate news. Elis rose to the top of the European benchmark, up by 13 percent, after announcing the acquisition of Kings Laundry.

Airbus rose 4 percent after reporting that its second-quarter profit more than doubled. CEO Tom Enders said that he was not seeking a merger of the combat jet activities with BAE Systems.

For the day The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,932.24 up with +1.17% percent or +91.47 point.the Dow is trading at 25,414.10 up with +0.68% percent or +172.16 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,846.07 up with +0.91% percent or +25.67 point.
