Nasdaq Futures Opening Update as on 23 April 2019

U.S. stock futures lower  in pre-market trading for , April 23.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,729.12   with a loss of -0.07%  percent or -5.63 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 26,496.00  with a loss of -0.06% percent or -17.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,909.88  with a loss of -0.09% percent or -2.62 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,217.90  up with +0.078% percent or +17.34 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,963.26  with a loss of -0.54% percent or -161.42   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,215.04  with a loss of -1.70% percent or -55.76 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,869.10   with a loss of -0.69% percent or -271.12 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,491.91  up with +0.43% percent or +32.03 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 12,192.92  with a loss of -0.24% percent or  -29.47 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,567.33 with a loss of -0.23% percent or -13.05 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 389.43   with a loss of -0.26% percent or -1.02 point.

Tuesday’s Factors and Events

Oil prices jumped more than 2% in the previous session, hitting their highest level this year amid intensifying concern about global supplies. It comes after the U.S. announced a further clampdown on Iran’s oil exports.

The world’s largest economy said Monday that from May 1, it would eliminate all waivers allowing eight economies to buy Iranian oil without facing U.S. sanctions.

International benchmark Brent crude traded at $74.40 Tuesday morning, up around 0.5%, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at $65.93, almost 0.6% higher.
