The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 11,825.7 with a loss of -1.73% percent or -208.6 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 31,636.0 with a loss of -0.77% percent or -244.2 point.The S&P 500 Futures is  trading at 3,928.00 with a loss of –1.15% percent or -45.80 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 26,748.14 with –0.94% percent or –253.38  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 20,082.18 with a loss of –1.89% percent or -387.88  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,070.93 with a loss of –2.41% percent or -75.93  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 54,180.57 with a loss of –0.20% percent or –108.04  point at 12:15 PM.For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,443.93 with a loss of –0.93% percent or -69.51   point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 6,283.09 with a loss of –1.19% percent or -75.65 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 14,011.88 with a loss of –1.15% percent or -163.52 point.

 

 

FRIDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Shares of British power generation company Drax Group sank more than 16% to the bottom of the index after Citi cut the stock to “sell” from “neutral” and lowered its price target. Leading gains in Europe was Danish hearing aid company GN Store Nord, which surged more than 17%.
